Our Philosophy

We are about problem solving. We believe that form follows function and that each solution must be designed to meet its objectives. We look at each project as we would look at any other aspect of business. The challenges must be identified. There must be clearly defined goals and objectives and we must create a strategic plan to reach them. We must be free to "color outside the lines" when looking for solutions. We must meet or exceed customer expectations. All the rest is fun.

Our People

The project managers, designers and producers at MiddleCoast.Net have been developing interactive media for over fifteen years and have been producing marketing and communications programs for over twenty five years.

The principals have been early adopters and innovators in multi-media software development since the late 1980's. They :

• Have been the recipients of numerous awards including two international awards for the use of technology in education and communications applications
• Have been profiled in several business and industry periodicals
• Hold patents for the integration of multi-media sales tools and manufacturing processes
• Have been guest speakers and panelists at numerous national and international conferences
• Have worked for clients throughout the world

Most of our programmers and team members are contracted on a project basis. Using this approach we are able to use the "right" people for each job and not try to sell a client on an idea because we have someone on payroll that performs a particular task. The primary advantage of this approach is that we have built teams of experts who bring a vast array of experience to the table. Their contributions elevate each project with creative problem solving and tried and true experiences that shorten development cycles. While we are based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we have team members in Chicago, Seattle, New York and throughout the South. This approach also allows us to rapidly build a team and deploy them on one project without encumbering staff working on other projects. No time is taken away from any one client to meet the needs of another. The principals maintain their roles in managing the projects and keeping an eye on the goals and objectives of each.
